We are the largest community of professional booksellers in Nigeria. Training

In the age of technology, booksellers need to keep themselves informed about the latest tools and resources that boost book marketing. That is why we organize several trainings and workshops all year round to educate our members. We invite seasoned marketing and technology experts from top higher institutions and companies as facilitators to provide cutting-edge information that will give our members an unfair advantage.

Advocacy

Booksellers and bookstores in Nigeria face many challenges that affect their business. But fighting alone can be tough for any individual bookseller. That is why, as an organization, we band together to fight any issues that are affecting our members and the industry. Our advocacy efforts have helped reshape the bookselling and education sector, something we are very proud of.

Partnerships

No one can create change alone. That is why the Booksellers Association of Nigeria partners with government agencies, corporate bodies, international organizations, and individuals to support our efforts. Our collaborations have yielded positive results in the past and helped us create impact that has positively impacted the education of Nigerian children.

Consumer Engagement

Every year, our members participate in the Nigeria International Book Fair, which is the biggest book fair in Nigeria. The event affords us the chance to meet with new customers and clients that increase our customer base and encourage growth. We also organize in-house marketing and sales events, focusing our attention on the target audience that consumes books.

Anti-piracy

As booksellers we are aware of the negative economic realities of piracy, not just on our members but on the whole country of Nigeria. That is why we partner with organizations like the Nigerian Copyright Commission to engage the public on the dangers of book piracy. We also use our various social media platforms to educate consumers on why they need to buy only original books from professional booksellers and bookstores.
